Omar NFT Legacy Collection

The Godfather of UK Soul enters the Metaverse

Over the span of his 30+ year career, UK soul pioneer Omar Lyefook, MBE (simply “Omar” to his fans) has released eight critically acclaimed studio albums.

1994’s legendary album For Pleasure is a Neo Soul Classic that opens with a minute-long teaser of a song entitled, “My Baby Says” Although intended for release in its entirety on the following album, Omar decided to hold it back, and the full piece remained unreleased and unheard for over 27 years.

That is, until now.

For years, rare music collectors and DJs alike have eagerly awaited the release of this piece of music history. Released here as a non-fungible token (NFT)

OmarNFT.com

A special website was built to capture this project. Launched in 2021, it was there at the emergence of the NFT movement. It was created as an anchor for this new endeavour. Not only for our team but for Omar fans and potential investors. This website needed to be educational and informative. Not only about non-fungible tokens but most importantly about the Artist Omar himself.

This website is robust in content to appeal to search engines and find Omar fans. It also housed profile pages for the NFTs that it features. Including unreleased digital artworks yet un-minted.
