2 Day Toronto Music Festival
One of my favourite projects is Soulfest. In 2017, iLive Radio put together one of the most impressive lineups of soul performers. It was the very first 2 day soul festival in Canada. Ambitious. Well executed and one for the record books.
My task was to brand these two concerts. I enjoyed designing this series and remember each performance fondly. In this world trust is a rare thing. The team over at iLive trusted me to do my best work. I am grateful for that. They made me feel valued and genuinely appreciated my efforts.

iLive Radio is proud to present iLive Soulfest, a celebration of Soul music in all its forms held over 2 nights at Revival Bar. We are excited to curate what will be a truly memorable event celebrating the talents and diversity of modern Soul music.
Headlining Friday 1st September we bring back the legendary Carl McIntosh and Loose Ends, supported by California songstress Sulpacio Jones. Opening up the proceedings we feature one of the bright stars of Toronto’s growing independent scene, HMLT
Saturday night sees the return of Omar, fresh off a busy touring schedule with the release of his 8th studio album, Love In Beats. Supporting Omar will be none other than Zo! featuring Carmen Rodgers who are no strangers to Toronto supporting Foreign Exchange. We are honored to host them on our inaugural festival.
Opening performance will be the artist they dub Toronto’s Queen of modern R&B;, Shi Wisdom
Hosting this illustrious event will be
The Legend Master T (Much Music) alongside StokeS (iLive Radio)
DJs spinning over 2 nights:
6 Custom Posters

This impressive line up of performers justified a series of dedicated promotional material. Each came with its own fan base and following. Watching these groups of people get introduced to new music that they had never heard before was a delight to witness. iLive Radio executed this event with professionalism and poise.
Art Showing
These limited-edition art prints were showcased at the venue. Leading up to the performances it was nice to observe small groups congregating around the artwork discussing their opinions.

6 Custom illustrations
Using a light table and pencil crayons, I created 6 custom music portraits. For each, I listened to the artist’s music. Submerging myself in lyrics and melody. At the festival I found myself mouthing along to songs that seemed new to me. Each artist was presented a large square art print without the poster text. These limited edition art prints were sized for an IKEA frame.
One of the highlights of my life was being called up on stage to present Omar with the portrait that I made for him. As a life-long fan it was a moment that I will remember always.
