Snappy logo
Some logos take a long time. Others seem to just appear immediately. For the Toronto based food festival Lobster Love, I knew that it required something iconic that encapsulated a passion for Canadian Maritime Lobster. Before the client could finish describing the event concept I had already sketched this out. That same day, this logo was presented and approved. It served as the event branding for over a decade to follow. Simple and delicious.

Advertising
A series of digital banner ads carried a bulk of the promotion. The click through rate was promising and resulted in a high turnout of visitors and advance ticket sales.

Branded touch points:

Project summary
I love food and I love Toronto. Especially food events. This was an opportunity to create a brand that would really resonate with people here in the city. It was very rewarding to see this logo on several touch points. But for me, the highlight was seeing it on t-shirts and plastic lobster bibs. It’s not a successful logo until it’s covered in melted butter.
