In my role as Creative Director for a Toronto-based POS production company, I was tasked with taking marketing material and translating them into retail point of sale displays for the Canadian Market.

The Cadbury Bicycle Factory was a successful Canadian social impact campaign launched by the confectionary brand that delivered over 25,000 bicycles to students in rural Ghana to improve school attendance. Consumers entered product UPC codes online to “build” virtual bikes (100 codes = 1 bike), aiming to solve the long, energy-draining walking distances to school.
Rendering for retail
It usually starts with a sketch. This retail archway was designed to have 2 dump bins connected by a 3D archway. This allowed for pallets of product to also be merchandised underneath.

Photoshop compositing
High resolution photography matched with confectionary packaging to create a brand visual. Meticulous close cropping and multiple layers provided masked images that could be used across several touch points.
